Any help would be appreciated. I pulled the axel out and even removed the bearing and racers (i think that is what they are called). Someone said that I would be like Shimano's and use a 12mm allen wrench, but after removing the hub, there is no place for the allen wrench. I took a look down inside the hub and it appears to be threaded on to the hub body, but it looks like the only place that something can grab onto is two grooves that are recessed in the freehub body. Am I on the correct track? Do I need a special tool? Is the WTB Speed Hub even rebuildable.
I am trying to clean the freehub bearing out because they don't move freely after I stop pedaling and it puts a lot of slack in the top of the chain. After riding Silver Mt. this weekend, I really need to get it fixed.
PS, Props to Silver for starting to develop a really nice hill to ride. The top of the Hammer flows very nicely.
