    Rear gear shifting problems

    Everytime I come back from a long or hard ride my rear gears ae all messed up. I eventually cannot shift into 2nd or 3 gear or 6th and sometimes 7th. can anyone help me?

    too late to reply as you have already figured it out, but your cables can be dirty. Meaning the housings they are passing through. Enough friction to cause shifting problems. Also, cables can stretch a little and you should use barrel adjuster up by the handlebar to center the shift pully directly under the gear you want to be in.
