race face sig ti bb ?

race face signature ti isis bottom bracket question: i have 2 of these - one i had for ~ 3yrs, and then another won on ebay w/in the last 7-8 months. both have developed play. can i swap the bearings out? will this be the fix? do i need completely new bb's? if i can swap out the bearings do you have the specs on what i need to get? can i get them at a local bearing supplier or are they proprietary?

i seek, therefore i hope to find....

    thanks.

Signature Ti BBs use 3804 bearings. If you have play it's most likely the bearings. I doubt a local bearing supplier will have them stock. Enduro Bearings has a list of dealers though.

RF has special tools to take apart & reassemble the signature BBs. My LBS has the tools so they did if for me.

Can anyone post a picture of the tools needed to remove bearings from the RF Signature bb? I have new bearings for my Signature Ti but haven't managed to remove the old bearings yet. There are some kind of rings on the spindle between crank and the bearing, right? Do I need to remove these first and are they attached by just tight fit?

I've never seen the tools as when my LBS changed the bearing on my BB he did it in the back service room in about 10 minutes.

Since you are in Europe, what about seeing if RF's European distributor has the tools to change the bearings?

Those instructions are for the RF X-type BB, not Isis like the OP has.
