Quick question: Truvative BB stuck to spindle...

Helping a buddy with his wobbly BB - looks like the BB is toast... I just hope he didn't let it go too long and destroy the spindle. In the pic he sent me, it looks like the inner side of the non-drive side bearing has fused to the spindle. He said it spins on the spindle but won't come off.

I've only worked on Shimano and RaceFace but they're X-types... surely it's the same... right?

Take a look at the pic - the inner side of the bearing (only shiny thing on the spindle) is stuck - spins but won't come off. Before I tell him to force it off... am I missing something? And yeah, the spindle may be grooved (toast) anyway.

    Thanks!
