Question on XTR cranks, and 2 vs 3 rings

I have't paid attention to cranks for a while so am a bit out of touch. Are XTR cranksets now fully compatible with the other Shimano cranksets or do they still differ in parts fit? I know that XTR used to use a 5 arm spider, but these days they look to be 4 arm like XT/SLX/etc.

Second question: If I want to run a BBG bashwich with a 32T middle ring, can the arms for a 2 ring crankset be used? i.e. are the arms identical to the 3 ring sets?

    Thanks.

Yep, I remembered that site about five minutes after posting the question

Well, XTR looks... largely compatible with XT in terms of chainrings and bottom bracket bits.

Good to know there is a BCD difference between 2 and 3 ring setups.

Theres is a 980 crankset and a 985 crankset. The 980 has a 3 and also a 2 chainring configuration options wich use the same crankarms with std 64/104 BCD. Is the 985 that uses a specific 88 BCD and is 2 rings only (and also has a higher teeth number than the 980 double)
