Question about FSA MegaExo BB stiffness

    Hi all,

I just installed an FSA V-drive Mega Exo BB and crankset on my bike. This is my first external BB installation, and I ran into an issue that concerns me. I assembled the bb and crank per the instructions, and when I got done, the crank does not appear to spin freely. It doesn't really bind up, it just feels like it has some drag. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.

Yes it's normal and will diminish over time.

did you torque the retaining cap/nut properly?

but yes, it's what you'd call 'tight' to start with. not major, just not super free-running. over time, it will loosen up a bit. all normal.
