proper chain length for full suspension ?

hi there, what should i be using for chain length for my full-susser giant anthem? I run a 1x9 (32 front-36 rear)...notmally I use the 2 link rule but does this work for full sussers also when you take into account how far the swingarm travels at full compresion?

I believe the rule of thumb (2 links) still applies to FS. I think the trick is to fully compress the rear suspension while doing this measurement. That way you incorporate the max amount of chain growth.

Different suspension designs have different amounts of chain growth. The only reliable way to measure is to let the air out of your shock and compress the suspension.
