New question here. Proper chain guide/end guide for Kona HeiHei 100

Has anyone out there gone to a 1x9 transmission on a 2010 Kona HeiHei 100??? Im worried about the chain guide fitting because of how the suspension is oriented on the bike, see pic. My LBS recommended i do not use a chain guide that attaches to the BB. If Im using a chain guide that clamps to the seat tube there is limited space and I might run into a problem.

I could go the poorman route and just leave the derailer dialed into place and put a bash guard on and remove the shifter. I dont like the look of it though.

What 1x set ups are people running on this bike? Suggested set ups?

    thanks for any help!!

hopefully i did not overlook any post with this same issue

I love Texas except for the lack of lift-serviced trails.

Its difficult to see what ISCG mounts and stuff you have . Have you a pic of the other side with the crank off? Maybe go to your local LBS and see what they recommend. It might be simple to find one but if its not at least you can size it up at your local bike shop.
