    Paul's Thumbies/Dura-Ace 9-Speed and Sram X-0?

I have a Sram X-0 rear deraileur, Sram X-gen front deraileur, and Sram X.0 twist shifters.

The twist shifters are ok but I would like to try Paul Thumbies coupled with Dura-Ace 9-Speed barcons but I have a feeling that the index shifting won't work with my X.0 rear deraileur. Is that right?

If that doesn't work, is the X.0 deraileur limited to Sram twist shifters and Sram trigger shifters or are there any other alternatives?

Pretty sure it's limited to jus SRAM shifters. I know it sucks... I'd be tempted for the switch to XO if I could get a set of bar-cons that would work with the Pauls mounts.

The index shifting won't work. The friction mode might not either. The XO will have a 1:1 cable pull and the Shimmy's have 1:2. So even with friction it'll be off.
