    It's the replacement for Hone, seems more useful, oriented towards trail/AM stuff rather than a lower-spec DH/Freeride group.

    I don't think it's hit the ground yet.

    Its more than just that... it also effectively replaces LX as well, since the LX name is going to be used for parts on the comfort bike side.

    True, but I've not seen much LX stuff around of late, it seems that Deore and XT parts are far more common these days. Discontinuing LX as an MTB group is mostly a concession to reality, the update of Deore to 9 speed pretty much killed LX.
