New Bottom Bracket installed, Question for the experts (picture attached)

So I had a new bottom bracket installed on my Stumpy today. It is a Sram PF30. My regular mechanic is on Vacation and another guy at my shop installed it. One of the first things I noticed was a metal ring that goes around either the crank or the bottom bracket is bent. It may be hard to see in the picture, but it is very noticeable in person. I am not sure if this is a big deal or if it may lead to problems down the road. Anyway, if you can give me your advice I would appreciate it.

That is a wavy washer. Supposed to look like that. Only the non drive side has one. The tech installed it right.

Yup, the wavy washer is there to accommodate for variations in effective BB shell width.
