New question here. Need help with new rear derailleur size???

Ok, I have a 2012 stumpjumper evo with 2x10 and I am changing the rear derailleur from SRAM to Shimano due to shifter compatibility. I am wondering if I should use the SLX med or long cage for this setup. The specs I can find on the SLX derailleur say 35 tooth max tooth capacity and the way I figure it, my setup has 37. Will this be ok? Is there any wiggle room with their specs or should I use the long cage? I have 11-36 cassette and 36,24 chainrings. Thanks for any help...

Looks like you are running F/S - It depends on how much chain growth goes with that setup.
Normally I'd say it should be OK as long as you aren't one of those people who cross chain the granny with the small rear gears.
But full suspension adds another variable.
