    MTB Double

I'm building up a bike, ie cheep, to race on durring the Fall (and maybe Sea Otter, too). I'm a cat 3 on the road and want to do a little cross over. I have a MTB double crankset laying around and am looking for some help as to what size rings I should put on it. Thanks alot

    What is the BCD?

This will help determine what size rings are available for your crankset.

    The only limitation...

that you'll run into is the smallest ring you can run on a 104mm BCD is 32 tooth. Other than that, you chould be able to find numerous chianrings that will work. I'd take into account the terrain you ride and how much extended climbing you have in the area. Lots of guys I ride with are running 32/44 rings and either 11-32 or 11-34 cassettes.
