    Mega Exo v GXP v X Type

Of the outboard bearing type cranks and bottom brackets is there a clear winner from a longevity, reliability and durability standpoint?

I am currently running a set of FSA Team Issue Mega Exo's cranks that have come loose multiple times and have never spun as easily as an XT square taper bottom bracket or Octalink configuration.

Any one have extensive experience with all three?

    Many thanks for your responses.

I've had a set of RF Deus cranks when they first came out. I went through 2 BB's in 3 months. Recently, my 06 Stumpjumper came with the Truvativ Stylo GXP which seem to be solid cranks. Neither rolled as well as the old spindle type BB's on the stand. The GXP BB felt the better of the two and would be the stronger crank. On the trail, after they were run-in, they felt pretty good.
