    how tight is tight

I have a new bike coming in today and I don't have a torque wrench, but I need to install a rear derailleur and a 20mm axle to a marz z1. How "tight" do I need to bolt these on? I have the L-shaped allen wrenches.. turn by the short end?
    thanks!

You're kidding right? How do I explain how tight I tighten it? Just go out and buy a torque wrench. I've a bar kind and it works just great. Might have cost $20.

I'm too out of it to be funny in the morning.
    but no.. serious question...
like crank bolts, you gotta really torque them down hard. stem bolts.. tighten as much as you can with just your wrist..

    Tight is Tight

Don`t overdo it with alloy stuff. Buy some loc tight or some lube for about every nut, bolt.
A torque wrench and all the attatchments, always nice ,but.
Get it just tight then carry a tool with you and check it again.Don`t reef.
Good sense will usually do it.
Loc tight them little derailer hanger bolts while your down there.
