Hey everyone, i've got an off the wall question to ask. I'm working on designing my own rear hub (im kinda bored) and i want to make sure my drive system can handle the torque. to get to the point, i was wondering what the maximum amount of torque (in something like ft lbs) that somebody could exert on the rear hub of a bicycle? if they tend to be different, perhaps different numbers between a geared and single speed bike? thanks to anyone out there that might be able to help me.
