    Hone crankset with chain guide??

I want to get a new crankset for my ds/freeride rig. I saw Price Pointe had a nice set of Hone cranks for $189. Not a bad price! But, my frame uses a bottom bracket adapter to mount my MRP chain guide. I use a e-style bb now to do so. Can you do this with a Shimano external bb crankset like the Hone? Or am I stuck with an isis crankset??Anyone know? ?

It will work. If you have a 73mm bb shell you will use zero or one spacer on the non-drive side of the bb and the chain guide on the drive side, and if you have a 68mm bb shell you will use either 2 or 3 spacers. MRP chainguides are a bit thick so you may need to experiment to see what gets you where you need to be.
My video techniques can be found in this thread.
