    Help! Sortie chain line.

Anyone know what the chainline is for a 2008 diamondback sortie.

Mountain bike cranks usually have a chainline of 47.5-51mm; what cranks do you have?

Are they external bearing cranks? If so, they have a specific spacer arrangement that's recommended based on BB shell width. Nothing else about the frame comes into play. You might be able to get away with running a spacer on the NDS to slightly move the chainline in, but you might not be able to either.

Do you know the BB shell width of your frame?

Thats what I thought but if you have ever installed these before they come with bb spacers for your size shell and chainline spacers/washers that go between the crank and bb.
