I have a single speed specific hope pro2 that I'm about to swap to a new frame and run it single speed.
I may keep it SS, but i know that there is room for 5 or 6 cogs on the freehub even though its SS specific. I may decide to run it geared.
I'm trying to think of the best way to do it.
One question is: do i need to use the manufacturer tooth increase or could i, say, skip a size cog on the way up for more range
I dont know much about the new type ders, but it would be nice to not need a chainguide since this frame doesnt have ISCG tabs. If i went that route, i am thinking XC seat tube mounted guide with one of those new style tensioners that mount on the chainstay
Thanks if anyone has ideas or has done this
