    Front shifter throw

I have an SLX drivetrain. I took the outer ring off, put a bashring on and have a 2X9 now.
The front Derailleur requires a lot of throw to get it to shift. I'm using the granny and middle positions on the shifter.
Any way to shorten the throw?

You might want to add a tad more cable tension, but by doing that, you might get chain rub on the FD in certain gear combos.
