    Freewheel size

    Can some one tell me how i can find out the size of my freewheel please? Im new and i want to get rid of my shimano megarange derailer and casset but im having a hard time finding 7 speed parts.

    I see that they have seven speed freewheels, 13-24 and 13-32 teeth. If your mostly riding on the road, the 13-24 would be okay and you wouldn't need the megarange derailleur. Otherwise, any Shimano Deore or better 9speed derailleur will work with the 32 tooth 7 speed freewheel if you have a hanger mount type (doesn't bolt on to the axle). I'm pretty sure that Asian freewheels threads are standardized (Shimano, Suntour, etc)
