    FLY RACING FR1 crank

Anyone ever heard of or used a Fly Racing FR-1 crankset? Would it work well for AM/DJ?

Hadn't heard of one, now that I google and see it's a steel bmx crank, see why there are no responses. I would think that, if anything, it's overkill for a dj/am bike. Might have more success in a bmx forum...

I looked it up and saw the steel arm, but the FR1 came up as the aluminum arm?

    *shrug*

I would just go and pick up a 2-ring SLX crank with the pedal insert. Or hell, even one without would be at least as strong as that FR1.

Or if you want something really stought... Go pick up a set of used Profiles.

Also... don't bump your own threads. Read the posting guidelines.

I couldn't find much info but thought I saw more than one ad with crmo arms mentioned. I couldn't find the product on Fly Racing's site, tho.
