    Finding steel middle ring

OK, i've searched the usual suspects, but none carry Deore (steel) middle ring.
Aebike.com has it, but it's not for internet sale.
Am I gonna have to visit the dreaded LBS?
Or keep riding with 1 missing tooth?

    $23.

Or try a Truvative steel ring at Cambria Bike Outfitters. The quality is below deore but the price was right, ~$8 ea.

Try calling aebike and ordering it. Then it is no longer an "internet sale."
    mtbtires.com
The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

Aebike has it for in store pickup only, but that Truvativ ring looks good for only $8.95. Thanks!

The Truvativ steel ring is doing fine by me. I bought two spares and I intend on them all lasting a couple of years.
