Finally! Bashguard for XT785 Double! (and sram double)

I ordered me the bashguard for the 785 Shimano XT cranks!
    Blackspire - Defender 104BCD 2X | Blackspire

I already took it out on the trail and it looks great and works like a charm!

Just wanted to share this, because I remember people asking for bashguards for the Shimano double and at the time there wasn't any.

This is absolutely awesome. I was ready to go to a "taco" solution but really wanted a traditional bash guard.

    Thanks for posting!

Sure, that's exactly why I posted it! Been waiting for this for soo long too!
I pretty much ruined my first 39 chainring, then finally this came out.
Ordered it from Blackspire and a new Shimano 39 chain ring and now everything is
    rollin'!

What bike are you running this on? Looks like there are some issues with e-type fronts.

Mine is a Liteville. And OMG yes I forgot, I did add a 1mm spacer to the ones provided for clearance. Thank you for pointing this out to help others!

Hi there. The bashguard looks good. My bike is running on M785 as well. By the way, what the size of the guard? is it a 36T or 40T?

Mine is a 40. As far as I know blackspire now offers 38, but they are not officially on the website yet so you would have to call or email to order.
    Don't know anything about a 36 version.

TA Specialites makes one, it's on their website and looks slick but they are a French company and I haven't found the product in all the online stores and it appears they don't sell direct.

    Interesting, thanks for post.

So, this could fit a Race Face Turbine 2x10 24/38 too?

I really want a Turbine crank, but Race Face doesn't make a 24/38 bash combo.

So, if this works I'd get a 2x10 24/38, add a the Blackspire and run an 11-36 cassette for my Bnashee Paradox build.
