I am wondering if anyone here has experienced the wonders of Dri-Slide. Around these parts no one has heard of this amazing substance and the miracles it makes possible. This lube will free up almost any stiff or sticky cable. You can apply it to one end of the cable housing and it will flow all the way through the housing, a couple pulls of the cable and it's good to go. It also does wonders to cables that are going through very tight turns as well! It's great, I have finally converted all of the guys at the shop where I work and now they love it too.

Oh it's available from QBP, retail would be like $10 per bottle.
dri-slide rocks! we used it in the shop i worked at oh so long ago, and the two or three bottles i had squirreled away are very empty at this point. QBP is wholesale only, right? know where to get it retail?
Haven't tried dri-slide, but if folks are looking for a fantastic cable-specific lube, I recommend Rock-n-Roll's CableMagic. That stuff is miraculous. I've recently become a big fan and total convert over to their drivetrain/bearing/cable lube products; and their CS is fantastic.
picked up liquid wrench brand dry film lube with ptfe (teflon)
last night for a buck and a half at the ace hardware
and i must say my cables have not bee happier in awhile
