    Does truvativ make an 8 speed crank set?

    If they do.....

    It's going to be an OEM or lower end crank that is put on new, low end bikes that still run 8speed drive trains. Frankly, I wouldn't worry about whether the cranks are designated 8 speed or 9 speed. I believe the differences are so minimal that you can get away with using a "9 speed" designated crank on an 8 speed dirvetrain.

    Can someone back me up on this?

    You should have no problem running a 9 speed crank on a 8 speed drivetrain.

    But I should probably expect significant front derailleur adjustment correct? I suppose I should expect this regardless huh?
