    Do they still build them to this standard?

    Opinions on said groupset compared to newer !

    Also 26/36/48 what kinda terrain are these ratios suited to?

    48/36/26 are still sold sometimes as touring bike cranksets.

    Also older cassettes often had a 12t as the smallest cog. ie 48/12 = 4 the same as 44/11 = 4. Riders were tougher "back in the day" the largest cog was often a 28t.

    Chain rings with 5 bolt holes are not common.
