Difference btwn Shimano RD M761 SG(S) & XT M761 TN

I have a Deore XT rear deraillier and need to replace it. I was shopping and found two models which appear to the the same. The first is a RD M761 SG(s) found at price point and the other is a XT M761 TN and I found that one at REI. Both are approximately the same price.

Does anyone know what the difference is (if any) between the two? Any help is appreciated.

I think Rei added the TN to indicate it is top normal.... the 761 designation already say it is top normal (the rapid rise one is 760).

    They should be the same.

SGS means long cage. GS , short cage,

    Crisillo,

Thanks for your reply. I agree, they should be the same. The "TN" threw me but Top Normal is the most logical.
