Derailleur Hanger Bolt
Having trouble locating the proper size chainring bolt used for mounting a derailleur hanger. I want ones with dual hex - NOT slotted. All the ones that I'm finding seem too long.
I would guess your hanger uses a chainring bolt and nut. They come in different lengths. Truvativ makes a dual hex set, also torx. You will be forced to buy a set. You could always try using a spacer to take up some length.
For some of the shortest chain ring bolts try these single speed type. They are not dual hex, however.

You're looking for a chain ring style bolt to mount the derailleur hanger?

Just looking for a chainring bolt with dual hex to make it easier to remove on the trail if i need to replace the hanger. Hate not being able to get a slotted nut to not break free, and have it just spin in the dropout. Nor do I want to carry a slotted chainring nut wrench. Just trying to simplify! I have a few single chainring, dual hex bolt but the seem a little long. Looking for another source.
