not ANY bike, but it will certainly fit yours. A couple of things you will have to do though. You'll need a new chain, the stock big ring on your 4300 is a 42 tooth, the big ring on the LX is a 44T. The two extra teeth make for a larger diameter ring, you'll need a couple of extra links to make up for it and allow full use of the cassette without buggering the rear derailleur. Granted cross chaining is a no-no, but it does happen. Also you'll likely need to adjust the front derailleur upward a bit so that it clears the teeth on the LX big ring. Since the front derailleur is a top pull, adjusting upward will put slack in the cable. So you'll have to loosen up the anchor bolt and remove the slack. The LX crank may also have a bit different chainline than your stock crank so limit screws may have to be adjusted as well. It'll work, you'll just have to make some adjustments.
