Crank not spinning true causing der rub?

I have been trying to adjust my front dérailleur so it's not rubbed by the crank. Right now it's real close. After looking closely, it looks like the crank itself kinda wobbles (like it's not spinning true. It's just a cheaper suntour crank on my 2010 specialized. Is the wobble normal or because of the cheaper crank or do most cranks (cheap ones too) have no wobble? Thanks for your help

    Position of the front derailleur.

While your rings might be out of true the derailleur height on the seat tube is supposed to be set up to clear the top of the large chain ring by 1-2 mm. That would eliminate rub.

What guideline are you following in setting up your front derailleur? has good guides if you need one. Some cheaper cranks may not be completely true, but you might make sure your crank arms are installed to spec, too.
