What do you mean the crank puller doesn't do jack? If they have been on there for a long time you might try spraying a bunch of penetrating oil in the area (liquid wrench or WD-40) and letting it sit a while.
What interface is it? Isis? Square Taper?
Depending on the puller you have, it should rip out the threads on the crank before it stops turning granted it's hardened steel with fine threads (park version)
Seems pretty impossible to me. I though mine were going to be a pain to get off because they say "Significant force will be needed", but it was super easy. Are you screwing the larger outside part in till its tight??
If your crank puller is made for an ISIS or Octalink interface the end of the center pin will be too large to fit through the hole in your square taper crank.
Is it this tool? It comes with two tips. You'll need the smaller 11.3mm diameter one.
yes at least i think i am turning it as far is it will go. I sprayed WD-40 on it but it didnt really help
