So im very new to mtbing and im trying to upgrade my Mongoose Satus 3.0 crank because the one that came with it skips links when i pedal hard. Further inspection revealed that some teeth on the sr suntour crank had been worn down rendering my whole bike usless on steep hills and trails, so i looked around and found Control Tech Rage-D 2 chainring crank perfect for the gearing ratios of wich i never go out of.

SOO my question is is it compatable to my frame/bracket and what all would i need to get?
Would i still be able to use the same pedals off the sr suntour crank, same chain, and would i have to get a new front derailer?

Heres a link to my bike,

Heres a link to the crank

Your chainrings may be worn out but I bet the teeth you are looking at were manufactured that way. Your skipping chain may be because the cassette cogs are worn out. At this point, when you replace the cranks and/or cassette you will need to replace the chain, too.
