Chris King or Hope GXP Bottom Bracket???

I've had a few SRAM GXP bottom brackets on my MTB, and have had lots of issues with them despite regreasing when needed. I'm tempted to get a better quality bottom bracket. I've looked at Chris King and Hope and was wondering if you guys had any recommendations. The Chris King injection tool looks cool, but don't know if it has any advantages to simply removing the bearing cover and regreasing. Thanks!

Don't have experience with CK, but for what it's worth I love my Hope BB. Was burning through the supposedly very good Race Face Turbine BB every three months. The Hope is beautifully made and smooth. So far trouble free. Liked it so much I bought two. One Black, One Red, to change the look up once in a while.

You'll be able to better/easier flush the King bearings with grease. Just removing the bearing cover and adding grease doesn't ensure that you have purged the dirty grease.

How about the bb's from Real World Cycling? I'm looking for a new GXP bb myself.

Does the CK BB still require removing the crank to get at the ports? 30 seconds more and I can pry off the dust seals on my BBs and get at the bearings, not to mention that you can pick up new bigger bearings (usually) from RWC for cheap.

I think you also need to buy adapters for Hope/King GXP BB's, be sure to check on that if you order online.

Subscribed.. The newer GXP BB seems cheaper than the older models I've had. Not quite as wide either

Thanks for all of the advice. I decided to go with the CK route, since it's easy to use the injector to replace the grease. I usually end up having to wash my bike after just about every ride. I'm very gentle when it comes to cleaning my bikes and don't use high pressure sprays. Here's a photo of one of my ride today on completely dry trails. This is purely from my sweat...
