Changing to bigger Cassette, need new chain?

Hey there. I just got a bike built up and noticed the rear cassette was an 11-32 and I wanted a 11 or 12-34 for the bigger top end. the chain and cassette are new. I want to get a 12-34. Do I need a new, longer chain? Thanks

quite possibly, but not necessarily. depends how much slack there is to begin with.

you can refer to the SRAM/shimano (rear derailleur) downloadable manuals to check their recommendations of how to set up chain length (both use the same technique).
