Chainrings for Race Face Turbine 2x10

I picked up a turbine 2x10 crankarm set recently at a good price, I thought. I didn't do my homework well enough and found out buying a set of RF chainrings for it would result in about the same total price as buying a complete crankset that I see on sale (I would save about $10-20; I thought two rings would certainly cost much less than three rings!). So, I am watching sales and ebay to see if I can buy a set for less than what I see them now ($80-100) OR buy other brands' chainrings that would fit.

Would SRAM or Truvative 2x10 chainrings fit? If so, can I mix series (like XX with X0) and manufacturer, using the same front derailleur? I have been searching, but cannot find an answer (or do not know the correct search terms to use). Maybe it has been answered, so could you direct to that discussion if there is one?

I am looking at getting a 26t for the smaller ring, but I open as far as the larger size. I have a Shimano 2x10 XT FD to use if it will work.

    Thanks for the help.

It looks like the Race Face turbine has the same bolt circle diameter(80/120) as the SRAM/Truviativ 2x10 systems. Since that is the case, RF says the crank is optimized for SRAM drivetrains, though that doesn't necessarily mean the Shimano FD wouldn't work - it should work fine, especially if the FD has a band-type clamp(instead of e-type/direct mount) since there is more adjustment.
