    Chainrings

    Which to go with?

    FSA Pro
    RaceFace Race
    Shimano XT
    Blackspire

I need new rings as my Truvativ ones are all bent to hell and I'm getting skipping problems.

Seems like everyone runs RaceFace, but which ones are truly better, or all they all the same?

I directly compared Shimano XT, Blackspire, and Raceface Team (same thing as Race but black) on the same bike in the same conditions at the same general time of year. The Raceface easily performed the best. They had by far the least chain suck issues, they were the best at shifting, and now that I've been using them for some months, they appear to be wearing much better than the XTs.

My personal recommendation would be the Raceface.

Note that the only reason I got the "Team" rings instead of the "Race" ones was because these were the only ones my LBS had in stock at the time, and they gave me a great price on them. The next time I get rings, I assume I'll be getting the "Race" ones instead since they're the same thing without the black anodizing.
