    Chain rings

I've been checking out the reviews on chain rings. Seems like it's a hit and miss kinda' thing. Not to mention getting a chain that matches up with them.

    Any suggestions?

I recently compared Shimano XT, Blackspire Super Pro, and Raceface Race/Team. My favorite is the Raceface. It has the fewest chain suck issues by far, and it shifts perfectly (better than the Blackspire, and probably the same as the XT.)

There are a lot of differing opinions on this, however, so you won't find one that everybody agrees is best.

Regarding the chain "matching up" with them, I don't understand what you're saying. You simply get the chain that's designed for the number of gears on your cassette -- i.e. if it's a 9 speed casette, use a 9 speed chain.
