    Chain Coming Off

I am having a problem with my chain coming off when I shift into my lowest gear (big cog). It shifts to the big cog, then comes off and gets lodged between the tire hub and the cassette.

Is this a function of rear derailleur adjustment? I trimmed the derailleur so that I wasn't getting clicking in any of the gears, but it seemed suspect that I had to unscrew the trimmer so far to get it to smoothly shift through all the gears.

    Any ideas?

Push on the body of the derailleur towards the spokes while in the lowest gear (not with the tire spinning). If it moves inward at all, tighten down the L limit screw on the derailleur body a little until you can get it solid.
