Can't get my Missing Link to close, help!

I've got a really tight one. I do not have the closing tool and I can't get it to close by adding alot of pressure through the drivetrain. Tried pinching it shut with pliers, not working either...

    Now what?

Now do a quick google search and find a thread here with the exact same issue and see that you have to make sure the pins are well aligned with the cut-out sections to engage the locking action. And that you are using the right missing link for your chain (i.e. a 10 spd one for a 10 spd chain).
