Can't get into large rear cog

I have a Trek Top Fuel 9.9SSL. My rear derailleur started slipping (chain slipping off cog onto incorrect cog and back). I've adjusted it and the slipping is gone. However, I can't click into my large rear cog. Once I get to the 2nd largest cog and click to go up to the largest cog, my shifter doesn't do anything. No click. It's like the shifter thinks the 2nd to last cog is the last cog. Any ideas what else I need to adjust to get things back into alignment?

I was able to fix this by adjusting the low adjustment guide screw.

Yeah, just set the low limit screw.

You probably tweaked the hanger a little. Otherwise, limit screws rarely need adjusting. May not be enough to affect shifting, but you know what to check if the shifting isn't as smooth in a couple gears.

Agreed. Sounds like the hanger alignment needs to be fixed.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
