Do You Like To Climb?
Great, so I just splurged and ordered a set of Candy pedals. . .THEN I read the rant thread and some others and learned about the entry/exit issue. I s'pose it is caveat emptor. . .I thought I was getting a "better" pedal than the stock LX stuff.
I don't wanna deal with iffy entry or uneven exit. . .man, it would be face-plant city all the time it that's the case.
I chose the Candys 'cause I thought they would be a good value compared to the ATACs. . . .
someone tell me they agree with this purchase and that I will enjoy my riding even more once I get em installed!
It Was My Rant...
and you'll notice I did buy more Crank Bros pedals. I have two rides on the Candys now and I think you'll be happy with them. My issues were of the double-edged sword variety. I have found that CB has pretty good customer service, I just wish I hadn;t had to test it so often. I'll assume that I did not do all I could have vis-a-vis maintenance. We'll see, I'd like nothing more than for these to be the last and best pedals I ever bought!!!
Get your freak on!
You'll be fine. They are great pedals and are getting great reviews.
If anything, they are better then the normal egg beaters.
I own 3sets of crank brother pedals, and a 4th is on it's way!
