    Bottom Bracket Help

I have 2011 Redline Monocog and I need a new BB. I have never been much of a mechanic and I am trying to get better at it and do more stuff myself. The BB is a 68mm x 118mm I believe. What is a good replacement for this BB? Is this a good option?

FSA Platinum 68x118mm ISIS BB - Bikewagon

I asked my bike shop about the tools needed and they were not much help - I think they want the buisness. What tool(s) do I need to replace this type of BB? My BB looks different than the one above. Seems like mine needs a wrench that goes on the outside and not the inside like the one above.

    Thanks for any help.

Actually, the BB does not have the square spindle. It looks more like this, which I suppose would work.

Can anyone help me find a replacement. It is 68x118. Can't seem to find one that has this spindle.

    Thanks.

That is not the standard bottom bracket fitted to a Monocog.
Remove that one it will most likely have the size written on it. Or measure that one here

    It looks like ISIS spline

The links you give below has one for $65 ish the other one is $40. Both should fit.

Bluesky has 10spd SLX cranksets with BB on sale for a $100. It might be cheaper to buy one. Fit your single speed ring. ebay the 10spd rings and your old crankset. It might end up being cheaper than an ISIS bottom bracket
