    Assemble X9 shifter

    Hi guys,

ive ran into some trouble when I took apart my X9 trigger shifter. I know i should not have done it, but its too late now anyways.

There is a small spring-thingy that ive got no idea where its supposed to sit in the shifter:

    Assemble X9 shifter-img_4028.jpg

its the littel spring in the first pic. I dont know of itr has to be in the body-assembly or the lever-assembly.

has anyone got an idea on how to re-assemble?

You may have already checked but, Sram should have a explosion view of it on their site. Hope this helps. I'm sure some others will chime in with more advice. Good luck!

Hart to tell but looks like that's the spring inside the thumb lever ratchet, haven't taken one apart myself to know though. Good luck!

    Thanks guys.

The exploded drawings in the sram manuals are nowhere near detailed enough to find these littel bits on. They only 'explode' the shifter per part that can be sold seperately i guess.
I find lots of pictures and vids on the older x9 shifters, however can not seem to find any useful info on the model that I tore apart...

Hope there's someones out here that can help. Would not be happy if I need to buy a new shifter just because i cant get the one i have back together!

I've looked at the thing for hours, but jut can not find a logical place to put it in, and have both of these lil arms on it connected somewhere.

There is a guy who sells an 11spd conversion for the X9 shifter who should know how to put it back together. Maybe search x9 11 speed conversion?

The spring attaches to the metal plate In this picture. in the lower right hand area of the picture, you can see a small hole near the 90 degree bend, the spring attaches to that hole. Once in that hole, swing the spring and you'll see where the other end connects.
