    anyone use deore level cassette

I just found a smokin deal on deore 9 speed 11-34 cassettes. I usually use xt's. I know that the xt's are aluminum. The Deore (sh50) are steel. I know they will be heavier but that is not a concern with me. It may even be more durable. I was wondering if it will shift dependably and last a long time. Thanks from Ma
    29ers are more fun!

Deore shift just as good and last WAY longer than the XT, indeed its heavier but miles/$ its the king!

XT is steel as well, weight savings are archieved by mounting the rings on a spider.
