    any durability issues w/ '05 X9 derailler?

Anybody have any problems w/ the '05 version of the X9 rear derailler? I've seen some posts about the '04 stuff snapping unexpectedly but I haven't heard if they've remedied that problem on the new version. I don't like the new dual control shimano components and I'm trying to decide between an '05 SRAM X9 setup or an "old" Shimano XT rapidfire drivetrain. Any input or experiences are appreciated.

the "snapping problem" on the 04 was not wide spread. Just some vocal shimano fans here pointing out a few failures. I have the 04 and have no problem at all. 05 not been out long enough to get a reliable heavy-use estimate.
