I'm trying to run I-Links on my Specialized Epic that has no cable stops from the rear shifter to the RD (only 5 zip tie spots) and the housing has to run uninterrupted. I am having trouble getting the rear shifting to work because the housing "flexes" due to the I-Link housing, causing it to compress and end up way too short and jack-up the inner lining. The FD is working fine because it doesn't flex w/the cable stop. The standard pack only has enough links to make the housing as long as my old housing.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
