Are all X0 trigger shifter 2x10's the same?

I'm looking for a set for my first build and was wondering if SRAM has changed anything in the last few years on their X0 trigger shifters. I know they come in different colors but are they all the same internally through the years?

Also, I know it's highly unlikely, but is there a way for the XTR Trail brakes to be used with the SRAM Matchmaker system and keep it all neatly together on the bars?

Edit: After some deep google searching, I found these for the Shimano brakes to SRAM shifters.
