    All I want is a Shimano XT, 34t, 104 BCD, 10...

    Speed chainring.
    Or a 33.

Is that just TOO much to ask?

Been searching, having a hard time finding anything that is reasonable (yeah, black spire, I'm talkin' about YOU.)

Anyone have any good leads for ramped, pinned, good non-32t middle rings for a 2x10 setup?

Will a raceface ring work? They sell 34 104 ramped and pinned rings for around $40

I guess it will 'work', if you are into soft metal that is also brittle! (don't know how in the hell they pulled that off). It just isn't the same quality, IMO.

I can't see why you're complaining about blackspire.....I'm assuming the expense, but quality and longevity in chainrings tends not to be found amongst the major players.

Yeah, found out I can order Blackspire via BTI.
at wholesale, they are still pricey...
But I can get 23, 33, 34, and 35....(now you see why cost is an issue)

Another option is MIddleburn. They have a 34t in 104 BCD with available options of hardcoat and slick shift. I've used their crank arms/spider but never their rings so I don't know how their rings perform. Because they are a UK based company, there is only 2 distributors in the US. I dealt with Alex at MTBtandems.com (gotta call) and was pretty satisfied with his service and prices. Well, that was 2 years ago anyway.

I never thought Middleburn or Blackspire shifted 1/2 as well as a Shimano middle ring. And that's from wrenching since either of them started.
