9spd Dura Ace cassette on XTR Hub?

Is it true that I can run a 9spd dura ace cassette on my xtr hub? I ride mostly on the road and would like tighter gearing.

    Thanks,
    Brett

    Yup, no problem.

All Shimano 7/8/9 cassettes have the same spline pattern on the cogs.
You night want to consider Ultegra however as they are half the cost for a very slight weight penality.
